Kris Kristofferson schrieb diesen Song, der auf sei-
nem ersten Album 1969 war, nebst anderen Klas-
sikern wie "Me & Bobby McGee", "Help Me Make
It Through The Night" und "Sunday Morining Co-
ming Down". Als Ray Price diesen Song mit Strei-
chern aufnahm, erhielt er dafür erstmals eine Aus-
zeichnung, musste sich aber die Kritik seiner alten
Fans gefallen lassen, denn vorher war Ray Price
ein traditioneller Honky Tonker, der sich nun zum
Crooner wandelte.
