Es gibt kaum einen Countrykünstler, der nicht
irgendwo auch Gospelelemente in seiner Mu-
sik hat, vorwiegend textlicher Art, denn "Go-
spel" heisst Predigt, und so gesehen ist jeder
Song mit christlichem Inhalt ein Gospelsong.
Musikalisch können sie durchaus Country sein.
Einer der schönsten und persönlichsten Songs
aus dieser Kategorie ist Waylon Jennings' "I
Do Believe", den er sogar mehrmals einge-
spielt hat.
