bigsiscloset: You know that feeling that you get when you put on THE outfit? You feel immeasurably sexy, confident, fearless, and outgoing? Imagine if you could feel like that EVERY DAY! That’s how I found *MY* confidence - through great fashion!!! When I was younger, I would wear the most basic outfits. I wanted to be as unremarkable as possible so I could go unnoticed in the crowd, a complete wallflower. As you can see, so much has changed! That insecure, shy, reserved girl is making way for this confident, fearless, outgoing woman that I am becoming, and I am loving every moment of it! It all started with the clothes for me. In the beginning, when I would put on a great outfit like this one, I would still feel so insecure, almost like I was wearing a costume of a superhero that I fantasized about being. Slowly, and over time, wearing great clothes starting making me FEEL great - more confident and outgoing - happier. Now, great clothes have become my armour - they make me stronger and ready to do battle against a world that constantly discriminates against people like me. Growing up, I never thought fashion would become such an important part of my life - but it has enriched it so much, from those first uncomfortable moments when fashion felt like a sort of costume, to now, where I can’t imagine waking up and not putting on something awesome.
